• Predatory Listings: Conferences that lack legitimate academic rigor, misrepresent their organizing committees, or make fraudulent indexing claims.
• Duplicate Submissions: Submitting multiple listings for the same event across different disciplines or categories to artificially manipulate search visibility.
• Deceptive Branding: Listings that use the names of prestigious universities, institutions, or "International" titles without a verifiable affiliation.

2. Zero-Tolerance for Predatory Conferences

To safeguard scholars and institutions, we enforce an immediate, permanent ban on "ghost" or fraudulent events. Indicators that trigger automatic removal and account suspension include:

• Unverifiable Indexing: Claiming association with major citation databases (such as Scopus, Web of Science, or IEEE) without verifiable, official documentation.
• Inaccessible Venues: Promoting physical or hybrid events at locations that cannot be validated, or failing to provide transparent physical venue details.
• Non-Institutional Contacts: Utilizing free, public email providers (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo) for official academic secretariats without providing conclusive proof of institutional identity.

3. Data Protection & Web Scraping Restrictions

We strictly prohibit the use of automated bots, crawlers, spiders, or scrapers to extract event data, organizer details, or user information from our directories. Unauthorized data extraction is forbidden for:

• Platform Mirroring: Creating clone websites, competing aggregators, or unauthorized directories.
• Data Harvesting: Extracting the email addresses, contact details, or institutional affiliations of organizers and attendees.
• Bulk Automated Submissions: Deploying automated scripts to bypass our review process and mass-submit low-quality listings.

4. Email Communication Standards

All organizers utilizing the Scientia Academia platform to communicate with attendees must comply with global data privacy and anti-spam legislation (including GDPR and CAN-SPAM).

• Explicit Consent: Organizers may only contact users who have actively and explicitly opted-in to receive their event updates and alerts.
• One-Click Opt-Out: Every communication sent through or in connection with our system must contain a highly visible, functional, one-click "Unsubscribe" link.
• Sender Transparency: The "From" field, header data, and subject lines must accurately represent the hosting institution and the specific conference—misleading or vague titles are strictly prohibited.

5. Enforcement, Auditing, and Reporting

We employ a robust, multi-layered review system to guarantee the quality of every listing on our platform.

• Dual-Layer Verification: We utilize a combination of advanced AI pattern recognition and manual oversight by our Editorial Board to audit submissions.
• Account Termination: Any account found violating these policies will face an immediate, permanent ban. All associated current and historical listings will be scrubbed from our directories without eligibility for a refund.
