Welcome to Scientia Academia. By accessing our website, subscribing to our alerts, or listing an event with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Event Listings and Editorial Control

  • Right of Refusal: Scientia Academia reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline the listing of any event submitted to our platform.
  • Listing Criteria: We reserve the right to modify, update, or change the criteria used for approving and listing events at any time as we see fit.
  • Content Modification: We reserve the right to edit event details, descriptions, or associated keywords to correct errors, maintain professional formatting, and ensure the event effectively reaches the appropriate target audience.

2. Subscription and Communication

  • Database Management: Scientia Academia reserves the right to remove any email address from our subscriber database if it is found to be inactive, invalid, or violating our terms.
  • Unsubscribe Requests: Subscribers wishing to opt out of our email alerts must provide the exact email address used during registration. While we make every effort to process these requests promptly, failure to provide accurate details may delay or prevent removal.

3. Paid Services and Delivery Policy

Upon receipt of verified proof of payment, Scientia Academia will activate promotional services within the following timeframes:

  • Premium Listings (Bold Event, Ad Box, Banner, and Spotlight Services): Activated within 48 hours.
  • Email Alert Service: Email announcements will be dispatched within 3 working days. Please note that email alerts are not processed or sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Scheduling: We reserve the right to stagger or schedule the distribution of Email Alerts to optimize engagement and avoid server overload.
  • Delivery Confirmation: A performance report will be sent to the email address associated with your Organizer Account. Services are deemed successfully delivered upon the activation of the service on our platform. Please ensure emails from support@scientiaacademia.com are whitelisted and not directed to spam folders.

4. Refund, Exchange, and Cancellation Policy

  • Requests: To request a refund, exchange, or cancellation, please email us at support@scientiaacademia.com with your order number, event ID, and a clear reason for the request.
  • Review Period: All requests will be evaluated within 5 business days, and outcomes will be communicated via email.
  • Timeframes: Refund or exchange requests must be submitted within 30 days of placing the order. Extensions may be granted in exceptional cases at the sole discretion of Scientia Academia.
  • Cancellations: Cancellation requests must be submitted on the same day the order is placed. Once a paid service has been activated or delivered, cancellations and refunds are no longer possible.
  • Processing: Approved refunds will be issued exclusively through the original payment method used during checkout.
